We can no longer tolerate a political system that rewards those who work solely to benefit their own interests, on the backs of our children & grandchildren! Our children, our liberty & our values are under attack from every front! Join me to protect the heart & soul of our future.

Public officials need to understand that they work for you! A government truly of, by and for WE THE PEOPLE. We must rid our public offices of those compromised by uni-party control and intimidation, motivated primarily by money, power and their reelection. We must replace them with regular, hard-working people who you can trust to be honest, be transparent and welcome you to learn and participate in the process with them, having your family's best interests at heart. This campaign and this seat belong to you!
I will:
Every single lawmaker & state agency leadership team should first & foremost be fiscally disciplined, with the mindset that they are spending OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY. Elected officials serving their constituents should aggressively examine every opportunity for the state to eliminate wasteful & unnecessary spending of taxpayer funds. A Texas version of DOGE is necessary - Department of Government Efficiency.
The public needs to be able to have confidence that their elected officials will proactively inform & educate citizens of wasteful, extravagant or corrupt spending, help citizens understand, in laymen's terms, by uncomplicating complexities & encouraging them to advocate for good stewardship of taxpayer funds in order to be a force for holding our government accountable.
I will:
We must insist on biological reality. It should be a criminal offense for any person who attempts to impart gender ideology or perform any social, pharmaceutical, psychological or surgical actions that result in the damage of a child's psyche, self-acceptance or body, pretending there is a possibility to 'change' the child's sex or exploit the child's natural, God-given identity. We must have a zero tolerance for sexualizing children.
Children and family personal information, or any information that has not been explicitly released by the parents, should be protected from data collection in school.
Strengthening and advocating intact families is very important.
I believe we should end no-fault divorces when children are involved, pass equal shared parenting laws as the standard when both parents are fit to parent, thus prioritizing stability and what is best for the child(ren).
I will:
There have been some improvements made in securing our elections, but none that have completely restored the general public's trust and confidence in our election system. I believe in removing all electronic data collection and transfer in our election process and only use paper ballots and hand counting. This can be accomplished by potentially reducing the size of voting precincts, enlisting precinct residents in the process, 100% recording of all activities. I also believe that increasing criminal penalties for fraudulent voting and corrupt election activities is important. We must continually work to improve the public trust in the integrity of our election process. As well, we need to be better educators of the election process overall to our fellow Texans.
I will:
Thankfully, the Supreme Court has reversed the unconstitutional decision made decades ago, and Roe vs. Wade has been overturned, which has been used as the crutch to permit the intentional brutal murder of a child without criminal prosecution. With that, we allegedly have ended abortion in Texas, but that is not the case, given the increase in abortion pills being used to murder babies in the womb.
Personhood of a preborn child has already been established in Texas law. Preborn children should have equal protection under the law. Anything less amounts to tolerating the tens of thousands of child murders each year. No part of abortion is healthcare nor is it reproductive health, and certainly does not make mothers' health and well being a priority.
There is still work to do to ensure our baby Texans' lives are protected.
I will:
Water rights and serious water supply concerns have been an issue for decades and have become increasingly concerning, with reports of depleting water sources to the point of emergency. Studies show projections of some communities expected to run out of water in 15-40 years. Despite the state creating agency after agency and water plan after water plan, failing infrastructure, lack of replenishment in surface and ground water resources, and overuse by commercial entities are preventing reliability of the most critical need for life itself. I believe that it also is possible that weather modification and geoengineering activities have potentially disrupted the natural water cycle and ecosystem, by artificially creating weather patterns, sunlight, etc., not to mention the many other harmful chemicals or materials reportedly being released in these aerosols that pollute air, water and soil.
Action needs to be taken, now not later, to ensure water availability for our children and grandchildren. I favor an immediate action plan of a pilot program to source seawater from the Gulf of America, delivered to the most critical rural areas of the state, building small nuclear power plants, desalination plants, and mineral mining plants for seawater brine, in order to replenish surface and ground water reservoirs. This would not only bring major water replenishments, but also create economic opportunities for these communities in water treatment and minerals market, but also related economic growth and jobs in these rural areas.
I will:
Home ownership is staple of the American Dream, and should be an attainable goal for most Texans. Unfortunately, it will be an impossible goal due to affordability, largely because of property taxes. This taxing system essentially puts property owners the position of renting from the government, having to pay a tax year after year, based on arbitrarily assessed values, even though taxpayers are sold the lie that we have some say over tax increases, based on approving tax rates. Because whatever reduction in tax rate or supposed exempted amounts promised by legislation is eaten away by counties simply increasing the value to base the tax on. This needs to end, and it is possible.
I favor consumption-based funding for municipalities and major funding realignment to the priority of fundamental education, from both the State and each school district, will be necessary, in order for the State to fund education in an efficient manner as prescribed in the constitution.
I will:
As Texans consider Art. VII, Sec. 1 of our Texas Constitution: "A general diffusion of knowledge being essential to the preservation of the liberties and rights of the people, it shall be the duty of the Legislature of the State to establish and make suitable provision for the support and maintenance of an efficient system of public free schools," I believe we are seeing how nearly every aspect of public education has been distorted, cluttered and exploited into a system whose mission has crept far away from its original intent - all at the expense of our children and families, and our education proficiency faring in the bottom ten of state education stats nationwide.
Not to mention the unnecessary spending and opportunities for fraud and corruption, overpaid administration and extravagant facility costs, and more. Teacher pay that does not respect the trade and the God-given gifts of teachers.
I believe that we need to drill down on what general, necessary education is, and what public free schools mean, and only teach and fund those needs, to meet preservation of the liberties and rights of the people being the reason for general diffusion of knowledge.
GENERAL EDUCATION:
Reading, math, science, history, citizenship, government affairs, money management, physical fitness, life skills and the arts are all general education necessities. Once a person can master these general competencies, they can learn anything.
My position is that health care, counseling, mental health services, are not general education necessities.
My position is that sports programs, social clubs, child care, elaborate sports complexes, etc. are also not general education necessities.
If the state (taxpayers, in some fashion) is to fund and maintain public free schools for the general diffusion of knowledge, then the extraneous things that have cluttered our system need to be filtered out. If a community or district wants to fund these non-educational ventures, above what the state pays as a standard, they can fundraise in order to do so. Taxpayers should not be compelled to fund outside of general educational necessities.
I will:
Additionally, I personally believe school choice should be actually universal for every parent to choose where to have their child educated; and, that public free schools can be of different flavors; or even different tracks within the same school. For example, arguments can be made claiming 'separation of church and state' and in that argument, opposing taxpayer funded public schools to permit tenets of a Christian worldview in character or environment. But as long as there are no barriers to enrollment in public free schools, then parents should have the options available to choose a school that aligns with their family values and beliefs - a school that teaches based on Biblical principles, or one that is void of them, or both - and the local community or district determine which they offer, decentralizing education control. Odds are that families are a lot less averse to Christian character environment than what we are led to believe, and I believe this idea is worth some meaningful conversations.
Due to the government's mandates and shutdowns in response to the widespread flu, the families & businesses of our beloved State have suffered greatly, and often times, irreparably. I will always be on the side of protecting the medical freedom of all Texans, ensuring informed consent and that protections are in place to ensure any type of medical coercion or oppression will NEVER happen again.
I will:
We saw some great progress in some protection of 2A rights in the recent past with the work of many gun rights activists' efforts.
I will:
I support fully securing our border with every tool and resource we have - physical barriers where necessary and other types of barriers and surveillance - in order to repel illegal trespassers. While it's unfortunate that millions of people from other countries were convinced it was okay to come to American illegally by prior administrations, and then exploited by foreign and domestic criminal drug and human trafficking enterprises into modern-day slavery, that still doesn't make it legal to be present in the country without having gone through the legal channels.
I often say, they could've secured the border long ago if they wanted to...why haven't they? And, who is they?
We must disincentivize being illegally present by ending taxpayer support and benefits, commit adequate defensive assets and personnel to repel invasion, and NEVER introduce illegal aliens further into our country, trafficking them to other cities.
I fully support the expanded cooperation through the 287(g) Program of the Immigration & Nationality Act where state and local law enforcement agencies work together in partnership with ICE to remove and process those in the country unlawfully.

I am a Christian who knows that I can do nothing without our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, and am known to turn many conversations into 'God conversations,' because I believe everything on Earth that we deal with has an answer in the Bible.
Being willing to examine issues with a Biblical worldview and apply Godly principles with the guidance of the Holy Spirit keeps us in line with the very reason for our existence, honoring God, and The Great Commission - sharing the good news of the Gospel and encouraging a relationship with Jesus. I am most comfortable and personally fulfilled by working with people who are willing to challenge and be challenged, as we mutually strive to a closer relationship with Him, in service to others.
I was born in Kentucky and grew up and graduated high school in Florida, before moving to Texas in 1991 with my family. I have lived in the district for most of the last 30 years. We now own our home in Wilson County and have been involved in our community for 13 years. Two of our children and one grandchild attended school in Stockdale.
I have lived and/or served in several communities across the district - South Austin, Lockhart, Luling, San Antonio and Zapata.
Our company MYCO Glass & Mirror was born nearly four years ago, after Shane worked for another glass company for more than 25 years. We are business members of the Greater La Vernia Chamber of Commerce, the Floresville Chamber of Commerce and the Stockdale Chamber of Commerce, as well as BNI Stone Oak, a professional referral networking group in San Antonio. [Ask us about BNI when you see us. It's a great resource to grow your business.]
Completed basic training in Ft. Jackson in South Carolina, AIT in Aurora, Colorado and then stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, building the mission-critical devices "BCGs" during my time serving new recruits at the Reception Station.
I have mainly specialized in nonprofit organizational development, fundraising and engagement, having been in the nonprofit sector for most of my career, directing efforts in resource development, strategic planning, program development and public relations, as well as public-facing needs such as websites, messaging and outreach, helping the leadership with these tasks, so that they can be free to focus on their areas of genius.
My small business operates primarily to help those who have a very limited budget or experience, and I am able to do so at little to no cost, because I believe if I can help, I should and my priority is never profit.
My most rewarding roles have been in serving individuals and families in important causes in our communities, such as homelessness, substance use addiction recovery, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and active duty military and veterans, where I have been blessed to work directly with individuals and families working through some of the most trying times in their lives, working hard, healing and reaching success by taking personal responsibility of creating positive change in their lives.
In 2023, I wrote a book, Boldly Meek, about healthy, God-centered communication and offer informal classes focused on improving communications.
I was a member of and baptized at The Way Church in Lockhart, Texas in 1998 and now member of First Baptist Church Sutherland Springs for eight years and served in the following roles, in regularly, near-full time volunteer service for several years.
Community Service.
I graduated from high school in 1989, with a focus on business administration, attended Columbia College at Ft. Leonard Wood while in the military. I continued my college education online for a couple of years at various stages as I progressed professionally, first with interest in criminal justice, then business administration, but realized that I did not need a degree, or the college loan debt, in order to achieve my goals in nonprofit administration and communications and charitable causes.
I am a motived and proactive self-learner and personally thrive best in directing my own learning path with intellectual curiosity. I love to read and love to learn in depth concepts and subjects. I am a committed Bible student with great mentors. My personal learning interests are public policy and its effects on community and culture, history and heritage [specifically Texas and early Colonial American history] and DIY home repair, to name a few.
I have held strong conservative views for many years, but my interest was limited and I could tend to lean toward being a cynic about whether a regular person could actually affect change, given the push toward progressively socialist liberal ideologies that have somehow gotten control over most of our institutions. I was committed to the importance of voting Republican, but I did not begin to do my part in paying attention politically or seriously educating myself in detail on public policy and our elected officials until the Obama administration. When I finally started paying attention, I began to learn how much it matters in our everyday lives, who is elected to represent us in our government. I became committed to researching and educating myself in legislative affairs, informing others and encouraging their participation.
My active political service began in 2019 when our then-pastor ran for this same race for Texas Senator and I was blessed to serve as his campaign manager. Traveling District 21 and getting to know the people in South Texas was eye-opening to me in a couple of very significant ways - one, that despite what was the common perception that all of South Texans align with the democrat party, that is NOT the case; and two, that intimidation and the fear of retaliation against conservative Patriots is a real thing - and 100+ years of the stronghold of corruption and single-party control has been the major contributor to many critical issues that far South Texans live with every day, such as the lack of election integrity, border security and economic opportunity or investment.
Sadly, these communities have been taken for granted by the left, and ignored by the right, for far too long. I've been so blessed over the last seven years to witness and work alongside hardworking conservatives to 'take back' their communities, liberty-minded Patriots who refuse to be a part of this oppressive system any longer, and we are not looking back!
I have been honored to serve in the conservative Republican movement to work to return our government to WE THE PEOPLE, as a State Delegate to the Texas GOP 2020, 2022 & 2024 Conventions, precinct chair, secretary & vice chairman for the Wilson County Republican Party and active in the Wilson County and Guadalupe County Republican Women's clubs.
I also managed the campaign of a candidate for state representative, and I continue to serve as a volunteer to other active candidates and other South Texas Republican parties and conservative groups, how ever I am able to help.
